Any news from VMMC? I think they have this Institutional Nurse program. I'm not sure if it's like LCP's BST program. I saw a batchmate who's currently under the IN program at VMMC. However, another friend told me that they checked with VMMC and was told that they don't have anything like that. Now I'm confused, if it's a training program is it open for all RNs or for those with backers only.

Hi I am currently under the IN trainee program of VMMC and it is until April 8 and costs 5k. The training is open to all Nurses as long as you have complete requirements like the board certificate. They only accept around 70 per batch and I can say that most of my batchmates indeed have backers (sons/daughters of Doctors, nurses, army, etc.) inside and only few of us don't. Most of my batchmates also had their IVT training there which is also said to be a plus factor in getting in their IN program, there were only few of us who didn't have our IVT there. They told me the IN program is a plus in getting hired especially if you don't have superpowers inside. lol.

thank you for the info. :) I hope it's not too late to apply for the training.

im planning to go to vmmc on wednesday. i've heard that they're accepting applicants for the ins program. i took my ivt training at vmmc last year but unfortunately i wasn't able to apply for ins that time because i was told by the staff at the nursing education office (last year) that they don't have any slots left for the training. neomarion, do you think i still have a chance on that ins program since i took my ivt training there? and by the way, i don't have any backer connected on that hospital. wish me good luck.. :)

Thank you very much in advance to those who can provide me info. God bless

VMMC still have an IN training but Batch 9 is on going till August 2011, those who have already submitted their complete documents, please follow up at the Nursing education before end of July. The IN training is a 3-month training program.

Thank you.
