If they ask why you have had no safe practice for 2 years you will have to tell them the truth. What is the reason?

Honestly, that two years without work since getting your practice permit is the biggest hurdle you have to overcome. It doesn't matter if you had experience x number of years ago in your homeland.

People want to know why you qualified in Canada two years ago and have never worked or looked for a job before now. Pregnancy is understandable, catastrophic illness needs explaining and a fit to work note.

Hi, have you decided to stick as an RPN? Congratulations on your job interview. I was taught from our interview sessions that experience though important to have, you have to be honest about what happened like loriangel14 said. If it's something understandable, as long as you explain it properly using good choice of words you should be fine. Let us know how it goes! Good luck.
