Any LPN's knowledge would be awesome!! I just recently became a LPN, and I was hoping that someone can fill me in with a link of what the LPNs in Saskatchewan could practice and what they cannot practice? I am having a brain fart, I know we are not allowed to Change PICC dressings or do IV push, I am sure i am a bit foggy on this can someone please help me out before i start to look for employment as I plan on reviewing notes from the past, however i was out of school for four years and and only went to school for 4 months this past year to complete my final 2nd year, so there is alot of information that i dont have on hand that was lost from a abusive relationship i was in...perhaps there is a online booklet of LPNs responsibilities Vs the RN....please help me

Thank you

Specializes in geriatrics.

You're best to wait until you're hired because every employer has specific policies regarding scope of practice for LPNS and RNS. You should also download your scope of practice guideline from the SLPNA website.

Your employer will have policies in place outlining your scope.

if you take the proper training you can access/change dressings on PICCs.
