Nursing in AB: what model of care do you use?

    Just wondering what model of care nurses use in Alberta? Or is that a purely academic and administrative term that floor nurses do not use?

    Depends where you work in AB. Some facilities use primary care nursing, and I've heard that some use the team nursing model.

    In my hospital it depends on the unit and the shift. There are times and places when it's every nurse for themselves!
