Is it better to do a Post RN Bachelors online or in university?

Hello, I am in my last semester of Nursing at a CEGEP in Quebec. I am planning on continuing my studies to obtain a Bachelor's in Nursing. Does anyone have experience with studying online? What is this like? Or would anyone recommend studying at a university, being "physically" there as opposed to learning from a "distance"? I have applied to McGill's integrated Bachelor's program. However, I have heard that it is a very demanding program and some students end up leaving the program because it is so hard! Others have recommended doing their BScN online because you can work at the same time and get experience while studying. I would greatly appreciate anyone's input about this. Thank you!

Well, that depends on what kind of learner you are. Online courses sound great, but they do not always work out so well. I have done some online courses and I prefer classroom; I learn better, retain more information, and I do not have to study as much when prepping for exams. However, everyone is different and just because I do not prefer them, does not mean that they will not work for you. Are you the type of student that procrastinates (I know I am, lol), leaving assignments and studying to the last minute? If so, the classroom route might be best. I have heard of people doing online courses with a group of other students, so they can all hold each other accountable. Good Luck!

I thought online would be great! Turns out I'm not that motivated on my own. Im sticking to classroom learning. But I have plenty of friends who excell in the online world. Try taking a class online that could count as an elective to see if it is for you
