Anybody in here who is undergoing the Provincial Nominee Program in any provinces in Canada by their employer?

It would be much appreciated if you will share your experiences and could also share the time-frame of each of the specific steps.

Hello everyone,

I emailed yesterday the BC PNP office asking them how long they process PNP application for Nurses. They said its 4 weeks... Well, Im still on my second week of waiting.

Hope I'll have my approval within this 4 weeks timeframe...:yeah:

i am also a registered nurse awaiting nomination for bc pnp. i have been told it is expedited for registered nurses. breech have you recieved your nomination?

yes, i already received my nomination last October 27, 2008. My employer told me that the usual time frame for BC PNP is 2-4 months. But in my case, its just less than 2 weeks! I can't believe it:yeah:...

Im about to send off my work permit application and at the same time the permanent residence application as per the instructions given by my employer...

i am really happy for you breech. mine seems to be taken longer. my application was around the same time as yours. my employer is also interior health. they have said it will take between 3-4 weeks max. i am within this time so i guess i would just have to wait.

[color=#002060]june 2008 interview with the employer over the phone

[color=#002060]july 2008 received job offer

[color=#002060]august 2008 provincial nominee program (pnp) processing

started

[color=#002060]october 2, 2008 pnp application sent to ministry of economic

development for nomination

[color=#002060]october 14, 2008 successful nomination from the province of british

columbia as provincial nominee

[color=#002060]october 27, 2008 received an e-mail telling me of the successful

nomination

[color=#002060]november 3, 2008 received application package for permanent

residence from bc pnp office.

send off at canadian embassy, manila

CRNE can be written only in Canada

This is my experience so far. mind you i am a registered psychiatric nurse so my experience might differ from general registered nurses.

February 2007 - completed registration with the College of Registered psychiatric nurses of BC

February 2008 - visited BC to write registration exams. not necessary but no doubt helped secure a jo.

June 2008 - telephone interview with interior health. interview successful

september 2008 - confirmation of job offer from interior health after references and other checks.

september 2008 - applicaton forms for PNP emailed to me from interior health

07 October 2008 - interior health sent PNP application to Health Match BC

08 October 2008 - Healthmatch BC forwared application to BC ministry responsible for PNP nomination.

21 October 2008 - BC PNP emailed to confirm application was recieved on 10 october 2008 and given a file number.

25 october - PNP replied an email i sent enquiring how long PNP process take. they said 3-4 weeks maximum.

Im not regsitered with CRNA... Im registered with CRNBC
