    hi,

yes, i already received my nomination last October 27, 2008. My employer told me that the usual time frame for BC PNP is 2-4 months. But in my case, its just less than 2 weeks! I can't believe it...

Im about to send off my work permit application and at the same time the permanent residence application as per the instructions given by my employer...

i am really happy for you breech. mine seems to be taken longer. my application was around the same time as yours. my employer is also interior health. they have said it will take between 3-4 weeks max. i am within this time so i guess i would just have to wait.

This is my experience so far. mind you i am a registered psychiatric nurse so my experience might differ from general registered nurses.

February 2007 - completed registration with the College of Registered psychiatric nurses of BC

February 2008 - visited BC to write registration exams. not necessary but no doubt helped secure a jo.

June 2008 - telephone interview with interior health. interview successful

september 2008 - confirmation of job offer from interior health after references and other checks.

september 2008 - applicaton forms for PNP emailed to me from interior health

07 October 2008 - interior health sent PNP application to Health Match BC

08 October 2008 - Healthmatch BC forwared application to BC ministry responsible for PNP nomination.

21 October 2008 - BC PNP emailed to confirm application was recieved on 10 october 2008 and given a file number.

25 october - PNP replied an email i sent enquiring how long PNP process take. they said 3-4 weeks maximum.

    present- WAITIIIINNNG....

Hi Breech , you need to pass CRNE exam + 250 hours for immigrant application , that is you have to clear first before you submit immigrant application. ( Based on immigration lawyer ). Do you think we can start the whole process without passing CRNE exam first ? From other threads , it's not easy to pass. I'm confused
