Acceptances to Ontario Programs for Sept 2011?

Hey guys!

I'm in my final year of high school, and i've applied to Ryerson, Humber, George Brown, Centennial and Mohawk for Nursing, starting in September 2011

I know its early, but i was wondering if anyone else has gotten acceptances to anyy Ontario nursing program yet?

Many friends have gotten acceptances to Ryerson already, none of them nursing, but i'm starting to get worried!

Let me know! Thanks!

i was told not to expect any news until after the equal consideration date for applications which is february 1st. even then you won't hear unless you were accepted in the first round of students. it could take months! i'm dying of anticipation as well, but nothing to worry about yet. good luck!:)

Oh thanks so much!

Good luck! :)

i got my acceptance to georgian today:yeah:for the bscn program in september. it's a conditional acceptance providing i keep my pre health marks up this semester. i also got accepted at seneca but chose georgian, i think it's a better school, closer to my home and i am already familiar with the campus. plus their building a brand new health sciences facility set to open in september. i'm so excited! you should hear soon if (if not already) if you were accepted first round. if you haven't heard anything yet don't sweat it, lots of people get acceptances and choose to go to other schools, leaving the opportunity for you. good luck!

I got accepted to Humber College, which was my first choice

Congrats everyone! :D:D:D

hey aliciaj! congrats on getting in!!!!! i also did my pre-health course, but completed it last year, so i'm hoping to get in this fall with my certification too. :nurse:

if you don't mind me asking, what was you gpa average like for the first semester pre-health grades? and did they ask you to keep a certain minimum or average for your conditional offer?

sorry about the questions... i'm really nervous too and don't know if i did well enough to get in.... :uhoh3:

hi!

i had an 87% avg last semester. i haven't received a letter about the acceptance yet (just the ocas offer) so i'm not exactly sure what i have to keep my average at this semester. i know a girl who got in for the bscn winter 2011 intake with her first semester pre health credits (she also had previous life experience and a degree in something else) and her condition was to keep her math and chem above 80%, so i assume it would probably be similar. i'm sure the gpa minimum is different for each school though, so check with your registrars office. good luck! :)

Hello! I've been looking for a thread like this! I'm from Nova Scotia and I have around a 93/94 average. I was already accepted to my top 2 choices, Ryerson U and George Brown/Ryerson. I will accept the Ryerson offer. But I have also applied to Georgian, Mohawk, St. Lawrence and St. Clair and have not heard back from them. I would expect around March for most people to hear back.

Congrats to you Kamimel! Wow... a 93/94 should DEF get you in most or all of those schools in Ontario! Good for you :)

You got in Ryerson too; I heard that it is one of the hardest ones to receive an offer - prob 'cause its Nursing program is very reputable. :p

P.S. I'm also from the Maritimes (New Brunswick)... I miss living there sometimes. :heartbeat

Thanks! I'm really excited and I'm going to confirm my offer within the next few days from Ryerson. Good luck guys!

Today I also got an offer from Georgian College's BScN
