I do the same! I'd rather chug it luke-warm in the first 5 minutes of my shift than attempt to reheat it in the microwave 5 hours later

You get excited for new scrubs because you wear all your others ones "to the death..."

But you dread shopping for a "nice dress" (like for a wedding) because you think you'll get so little use out of it...

I brew a pot of coffee double strength...then put it in a container in the fridge. Then 8 oz of the coffee, about 8-10 ice cubes, 4 oz milk, sugar to taste, choc syrup if I feel like, some cinnamon, and blend. Homemade large frappaccino for pennies on the dollar. Works great with flavored coffees too!

I do a similar thing but I can't figure out how to make it taste quite right. I'm a carmel girl so I buy that instead of chocolate.

Any ideas on how to make a (cold) carmel macchiato?

I found a couple of recipes online, here, here and here that all basiclly say the same thing. For a thread on the perfect cold caramel macchiato check out Coffee Geek, which has the following recipe for a 'standard' version,

for a 24 ounce drink put about 2 ounces of vanilla syrup on bottom of cup, fill cup about half way with milk (they use whole milk unless otherwise specified by the customer), fill almost to the top with ice, pour 3 shots of espresso in top like an "s", criss cross the top 8 times each way and 2 times around the lip with caramel sauce. this is the authentic way to make an iced caramel macchiato. i find that if you substitute hazelnut for the vanilla it gives a really nice roundness. the hot caramel macchiato is the same except you fill the cup leaving about 2" for foam then "s" in the espresso and add caramel.

and this one for a sweeter version:
16 oz.carmel macchiato:
5 pumps of vanilla
a few circles of carmel sauce on bottom of cup

Fill halfway with milk and take carmel sauce and make a squiggle like a m all the way along the side of cup (this gives the chunks of carmel you get when you drink). Add 2 shots of cold or hot espresso, add a heaping scoop of ice, then add a few more carmel circles and add whipped cream (if desired). Add carmel sauce on top (if desired)

I understand the meaning of this thread! Last week I had an opportunity to smell a "Corpse Flower", yup, smells like rotting flesh...an odor I'm all too familiar with, as a Hospice nurse. Funny, didn't bother me at all, in fact, as I sat in the yard visiting with the homeowner, the breeze blew the smell my way, and I thought, "Kinda like being at work!"
