So my son and I were planning on going to my work for Halloween (assisted living facility) as we do every year. Our residents love seeing all the children dressed up and look forward to seeing the kids each year.
But this year my son said to me..."Mom, if the residents don't get out to get candy..what do they give?".
I busted up laughing with some of the ideas that surged through my head!!!!!
So come on Nurses...help me form a list of funny treats that you would think would be passed out! (I am going to make a list for my Caregivers to giggle over...I make up a joke memo twice monthy for staff).
I thought up:
1. Chocolate covered Colace
2. Poise pads creatively crafted into ghosts
3. Ensure popcicles
4. duoderm covered apples
5. MOM suckers
6. Halloween grab bags of meds found under their recliners.
7. Citrucell smoothies topped with whipped denturecream.
8. Test strips and lancets for glucometers no longer funded by medicare!
9. Pureed cream of candy corn muffins
10. Assortment of hospital tolietries taking up space.
Thanks for the help in advance
