Rules for People Who Complain About Our Pets:

1. They live here. You don't.

2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.

3. I like my pet a lot better than I like most people.

4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks all fours and doesn't speak
clearly. 5. Dogs and cats are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug-using friends, don't smoke or
drink, don't worry about buying the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and if they get pregnant, you can sell the results.

And no matter what mood you are in, they are always happy to see you and show it in some of the most interesting ways.

Thumbs up Oh, Yes, I Agree!
WHY DIDN'T I HAVE THE BRAINS FORTY THREE YEARS AGO TO THINK AS YOU DO. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE OFTEN SAID, "WE SHOULD HAVE HAD CATS." WELL, WE DID HAVE TWO CATS, BUT WE ALSO HAD THREE GIRLS. THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING THAT BAD, BUT AS MY OB/GYN TOLD ME YEARS AGO, "YOUR CHILDREN WILL NEVER THINK AS YOU DO." THE MAN RETIRED YEARS AGO, MOVED TO ANOTHER AREA AND HAS SINCE DIED, BUT I ALWAYS WISHED THAT I COULD HAVE MET HIM AGAIN AND TOLD HIM HOW RIGHT HE WAS. MY GIRLS NEVER DID ANYTHING THAT "AWFUL," BUT THEY NEVER DID THINK AS WE DID AND DO NOT TO THIS DAY. BEING A MOTHER AND NOW, MOTHER IN LAW OF ADULT CHILDREN MEANS BITING YOUR TONGUE, A LOT!
YES, IF I HAD IT TO DO OVER AGAIN, I WOULD HAVE STAYED WITH RAISING CATS!
