One ringy dingy, two ringy dingy

Well, it's not a joke but when I first started working at my hospital, I'd hear them page DR. ILEUS. I just couldn't believe there was a doctor named ILEUS! Turns out his name is pronounced Ileus but is spelled differently.

A hospital that I did my nursing school rotation at used to page DR. KILDAIRE when there was a code.

In one night we had James Brown, Mariah Carey, Jose Cuervo, and Juan Valdez as ER patients! It was hilarious! I also had a patient named Benjamin Dover, his friends called him Ben!

A doctor I worked for a few years ago told me that while he was a resident at a very large hospital, he and his buddy residents used to call the operator to page Dr. Buster Hymen to OB/GYN and get a laugh out of it...... I wasn't there but I got a laugh out of it.
