When I worked in an OB/GYN office, I had this very pregnant perky drug rep ( who I hated with the fire of a thousand suns) come up to me to do a "belly bump". She acting like it was the cutest thing, hee hee, look at our cute bellies. The only problem, of course, was the fact that I wasn't pregnant! Definitely in the whole "keep your mouth shut if you don't know for sure" group.

This just happened to me last week. I was standing next to a pregnant nurse and another nurse comes up to us and says, "twin bumps." Except that I am NOT pregnant. I do have a bit of a tummy and what I was wearing sort of emphasized it. Still, a very rude comment.

That happened to me. I am 5'3 and at the time weighed maybe 110. I got asked boy or girl. I said I'm not pregnant. She said oh did you just have a baby? I mean come on! I was wearing loose scrubs what made her think that.

I know how you feel!
