My wife learned how to train me early on

If I ever piss her off, she buys jewelry

I aint talking walmart or service merchandise either

she likes Zales, The Diamond Exchange and a few others.

After 30 yrs now, you have any Idea how much jewelry she has

and do you think its enough

    It isnt

enough per her is wanting just a lil bit more
I'm sure you help her out just fine by pissing her off, huh Tom!!!

I do not like jewelry much and hardly ever wear my wedding ring due to not wearing it at work. If I had extra money or wanted revenge for something my husband did that made me mad, I would never buy jewelry. Ick.

Now books, there you are talking! I love books.

Some rules will change I'll wear the engagement nd the wedding right but that's all I want I've never been interested in much jewelry it's a waste of money, now like stevielyn said books are another matter, I'd buy 100 dollars worth of books before I bought 100 dollars or more worth of jewelery.

And when someone does something to pisss you off an you go blow a ton of money to get back at them it's immature and does not help anything, now you've got a nice expensive thing what ever it is and less money for needed or wanted down road stuff.

You're mate pisses you off fume a while then try to work it out maturely with out buying tons of stuff out of anger to get back

Some how I think you are missing the point and also making this thread no fun anymore.

Sorry if it's not fun any more it wasn't my meaning. I get irritated when people tell me what is or isn;t gonna happen like saying the rules of the relationship will change once I'm married, some will but most usualy won't like doing stuff to get back.

all though one time I cleaned the kitch with no help an next day he wanted to make saussage fro break an I said no since he didn't help the day before It put a stop to the unhelpfullness in kitch for a while:hatparty:

    Tom is right honey,
You are probably experiencing the newness of your relationship. Once you get married, and the honeymoon is over? Different story. Jump ahead about 10 years after you're married, and then come back and tell us if you feel the same.

We as humans, tire of things, including some relationships, because the lovely infatuous feelings have disappeared, and have been replaced with bills to pay, kids crying, fighting, screaming, getting sick, babies keep you up all kinds of hours, mostly during the night, and hubby gets out to get away from it all by going out with his buddies, or playing golf, etc. That's the picture of everyday life in a family.

Even though you believe your relationship is soo very different, (believe me, we have all been there) than anyone else's, and ya settle into the business of the monotony of everyday life, it will be different. Not trying to scare you, just trying to enlighten you.

    CHEERS!!!!

yeah I can see it happening. The kids the bills just not enough freshness to keep reviving a relationship andI can see how the rose glow would wear off.

Yes I know from some other moms I'm not one myself their their little ones keep them hoping at night

I know you're not trying to scare me, just show me that often times after things become more serious n you marry the glow can wear off.

A necklace of tahitian pearls and diamonds

and its not from walmart or service merchandise I can tell you that.
