loc prn

Was working with a new RN, and one of our docs wrote an order for LOC PRN, at first we thought level of conc., and were in stitches laughing(both of us had a lot of hours that week and it was in the middle of a 12 hour nite) My coworker said"does he think im that dumb,do you think i should call him and ask if i should just check if theres an obvious prob or everytime im in the room like i do with all pts" an hour or so later i finally realized he meant lax of choice,glad we didnt wake him up in the middle of the nite though
