Funny Websites or Blogs With Nursing or Hosp Stuff

  1. Wondering if anyone has funny websites or blogs that they'd like to share. There is some great stuff out there.

This is the one I found tonight...

Hyperbole and a Half: Boyfriend Doesn't Have Ebola. Probably. *UPDATED*

It's about "redoing" the pain scale chart. It was so funny I was in tears, and I had to share it with someone...

Loved both of those sites. I might just print out the new pain scale and keep it on my clipboard.

This site is a riot: http://www.nurseratchedsplace.com/

Now, the lady who runs it just lost her husband, so she isn't posting much right now. But there are loads of archived posts that will just have you crying and gasping for air from laughter.

For those who might be interested in the foibles of life as a pharmacist, try:
http://drugmonkey.blogspot.com/ Very funny stuff that ranges all over the place.

Hat tip to Nursel56, who put me on to both sites....

We've had that pain scale hung up in a private area of our er for years. And i will occasionally use the being mauled by a bear as a pain reference.
