| |  Everybody makes mistakes !
I just wanted to tell two funny things that happened to me quite a while ago, before i started nursing school. I was working as a nurse's aid in a nursing home for a couple of months, but this was my first time on that particular unit. I had to dress a man. No problem! when came the time to put on his shoes, i could only find one. I was about to go mad when i discovered that he only had one leg... In that same nursing home, later, i had this woman who could go to the bthroom by herself, except for one thing: i had to pull down her pants. Of course, no need for gloves, right ? So i pull down her pants and as she was about to sit on the toilet,DIARRHEA! EVERYWHERE! On the toilet, herself, her clothes, my shoes, my hands... I washed my hands, then cleaned the mess. Needless to say, the lady felt very embarassed! I'll always remember that day!
