election cycle humor?

A professor who works in an ER was telling us about a boy who was in the ER, with hydrocele and extremely swollen and tender testes. In the history, the patient said another kid had kicked him as hard as he possibly could. She (the nurse/ARNP) asked him why the other child had done that, and the patient replied, "because I didn't vote for him for class president".

At which point, one of her ARNP interns said, "It looks like that other kid knows how to get out the vote."
