Female Patient, "It is very cold, could I have an extra blanket, please?".
I brought the patient a warm blanket and placed it over her.
Patient, "AHHHH! This is better than a man!"

Yep. I've never known a woman to turn down a good warm blanket. Problem is that when they've got their warm blanket you can never get 'em out of bed and to work.

sorry girls. Had to bat one for the guys

Okay, I really like the warm blanket AND the hubby! Unfortunately, he doesn't care for the heated blanket, so I have to chose 1 or the other! Hhhhmmmmmmmm, is that why I work nights? No, it's because his spastic legs keep kicking me out of bed at nights!! (At least he says he doesn't do it on purpose!!!)

We recently had a tot who complained of being "shivery". I of course got him a blanket from the warmer and told him we had a machine that kept blankets nice and toasty for little ones like him. For the rest of his stay he asked for blankets from the toaster!!!
