Ahhh, its so good to be a guy. We generally don't wear pants tight enough to show offf lines or lack thereof.
From my perspective...I don't care what you wear...I don't care if I see panty lines, hey its underwear, we all wear it. I don't care if you want to wear a thong. Your butt, your business.
One thing I don't like to see is a pair of scrubs that are too tight in the front and show "definition".
As for the commando thing....two words...."Pubic Fallout" Yes, I realize guys get this too, even with boxers...but its just not the same.

Dang. If you guys can see panty lines, you need a bigger size pair of scrubs. Scrubs are supposed to be loose fitting.

Airforce - I agree! I can't stand the view from the front like that, and that goes for blue jeans too. Some people walking around in pants so tight you can see all that, YUCK!!

we are not allowed to wear thongs with our scrubs(they are white) at my school for our clinical. The school says that is not professional and I completely agree.

Just say no to thongs. They are not attractive under scrubs, or at all ever.

You're right, Tweety! And it never fails, even if someone has one on and tries to keep it covered, all it takes is bending down once or twice and you see the back of the thong and usually the "above the butt" tattoo. I'd rather not see either!

how much different? the "pathway" is still there..lol......cuffed scrubs would solve that, and it really is an issue in OR never heard it mentioned anywhere else....
it seems though, the major issue is persons wear scrubs toooo snug....there should be no defintion of what a person has on, or not, under their scrubs.....visual is another issue with light colored and light weight scrubs...

I personally do not believe it is any of my business what type of underwear individuals wear; I do believe it is my duty to my professional colleagues to point out when their attire is unprofessional and inappropriate for our environment. I have seen male nurses with colored boxers under white pants, female nurses with polka dot bras under white tops, black panties under pink or light blue pants, etc. People have a right to wear what ever they like, but they should dress professionally.

Okay, I am not the "Granny" panties kind of girl, but I agree to not wearing a thong under light color/see through scrubs. I to believe in the professional appearance. So dark scrubs, anything goes..... light scrubs should also reflect light undies.

Oh c'mon now... the tramp stamp doesn't do it for ya?

I saw the exact scenario above one time, it was some sort of tribal theme with "LUCKY" written in the middle.
I walked by, saw it, and said, "Now I'm not..."

Hahahaha she was clueless...
