Static electricity

by maiswi

Hello everyone!
I'm a new nurse and I have a question for those of you who have been wearing scrubs for awhile....do you have trouble with static electricity? I've tried various fabric softners, making sure I lotion my legs well, even used spray starch and ironed them, none these helped. Is there anything else I could try or should I buy stock in Static Guard since I'm using so much of it??? Thanks.
Maiswi

Make sure your underwear is of a natural 100% fibre and socks etc.A trick we had was to put your foot on the bottom metal bar of the bed before touching it so that you discharge any built up static.
