Best way to clean stethescope tubing

I have an ultrascope (which I love) that has light blue tubing. It is starting to get dingy and greyish icky looking. I've tried cleaning it with everything from soap & water to caviwipes- nothing has worked yet. I'm wondering if anyone out there has found something that works.
Thanks in advance!
