NY lpn's where did you get your first job?

I am a recent graduate, and I just got my license in November. However I been job searching since October and no luck. I've tried every avenue and I feel like I am at a dead end, being a new nurse with no experience is killing me, so I wanted to know what places in ny is receptive to new grads? and also what are some schools that offer LPN to RN in the city.. Please help!!!!
