    My question is, what can I do in the mean time? I'm afraid I won't remember anything by the time I get a job. Can I take courses for EKG's, IV, etc?

    WHAT state do you wanna work in?....there are tons of jobs in the midwest.

    Volunteer, earn more certifications. Are you willing to look out of your state? Or, in other areas of your own state?

    I'm in a state in the midwest. There are not jobs here.
