Nurses Job Hunt

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm in DFW, TX area, to make a long story short while in nursing school I work at a local hospital as a tech and gave my 2 wk notice right before I graduated last year, something came up and I couldn't make it my last 2 days, I notified team lead 2 dys before but she wouldn't change my schedule and I couldn't make it. So now I have been groupone'd, for time and attendance. I didn't no until I just got my job offer taken back for an internship Bc of my background check for my job. Any information will help, do you know how I can overcome this, with future jobs. Anyone with a history of groupone and got a job at a hospital anyway? I really don't know what to do. I haven't had a chance to work as a nurse and I'm already having problems. Thank you in advance for your help!

Once you are on the GroupOne blacklist, you have an uphill climb to get past it. You would have an easier time if you just move out of state.
