Certificates

I am a new grad, and have been looking on here for advice on resumes and how to make my self look better as a new nurse. I have noticed so many people have all types of certificates, such as IV certs, ACLS, etc. where do you go to get such certs?? if I do a CE course online does that qualify as IV cert if its on IVs?? Im so confused

I need to get certs, I only have BLS, but can't afford ne thing! I am begining a volunteer position tomorrow, but other then that I have nothing to add to my exp. and I keep hearing clinical exp doesn't mean anything (we all had it).

any advice?TIA!!
