Website for students

The school where I'm teaching does not have a student portal. I've been having issues with students keeping up with lectures, and wanting tons of copies of my power points. Has anyone created a website just to give students access to lecture notes, clinical paperwork etc...? If you have, could you provide the link? I'd love to see what's out there:-]
Thanks!

You could use collaborative software such as Google.docs. Go to google.com, create an account and then go to your account where you will find word processing and power point software - free!
