Using technology for strategic teaching to enhance learning and decision making


Leaders in the field of technology continuously search for teaching strategies to enhance learning in academic institutions. How is technology used in the field of nursing education and explain how it is used to enhance clinical decision making for nurses practicing at the bedside?

This is a classroom discussion question. I was thinking on the lines of flowcharts and care-planning aids that will remind nurses to cover all bases while still personalizing the care plan for each individual patient.

I haven't seen it used, but I'm sure there is something of this sort in existence at this point in time.

As for future applications, isn't sky the limit?

There is so much with the use of simulation that you should be able to discuss its application in education and then its use in bedside nursing.
