Looking for good online continuing ed modules

by del100

Hi there-
I'm a nurse educator currently at home on bedrest with a twin pregnancy and thought that I would try to make good use of my time on the couch by doing my continuing ed requirements for my licensure.
I am having trouble finding decent things online that aren't a bit expensive for just 2-3 contact hours or seem pretty outdated, but maybe my expectations aren't realistic.
My area of interest is community health/public health/women's health/nursing education.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi Del100,

I have a yearly membership to the Nursing Spectrum CE site. https://www.nurse.com/UnlimitedCE/
It costs $34.99 a year but then you have unlimited access to their continuing ed material. All courses that are 1.5 hours or less are then completely free to you. Courses over 1.5 can be purchased for half price. I have found the articles to be very high quality and there are many for both general nursing information, as well as, specialty info.

In my opinion it is well worth the cost. I think I've been a member for about 3 years now.

I wish you well with the pregnancy & bedrest
