Least expensive online MSN in education program


Hi
thank to this site I was referred to Univ of Wyoming as an inexpensive option for those wishing to obtain aonline BSN. Now I have a colleague who wants an inexpensive MSN online program that is relatively easy to enroll in (no GREs) Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. She is not interested in a Walden, Kaplan or Excelsior type of program. Must be an accredited college. TY

Just curious,

I am in the practicum part of my MSN in education ; and am attending Walden. I too looked at less expensive schools, but in the end chose Walden. For the cost, they ship all of your books, class DVD, and everything you need for each class. The faculty at Walden are always easy to reach, and they always answer your questions. For me, Walden was the best choice. Sometimes, like many things, you do get what you pay for. Has she talked with anyone from Walden? I am sure they would answer all of her questions.

I just graduated from Cal State Dominguez Hills. I think the out of state tuition is about $225 a unit. I live in California and it is cheaper for residents. I found it to be a good program and I was able to find work after graduating as it has a decent reputation for nursing education. The program requires you to do a lot on your own (find clinical spots, etc.), but I don't think that is wrong for a graduate level program. For a large public university, they are very student friendly and I was always able to get my questions answered by a real person on the phone. It is worth checking out.

Why not refer her to Wyoming? A GRE is required--but the score needed is very do-able. I had a great experience there and the price is right.

Look into Liberty Univ. @ Liberty.edu
I'm just completing my clinicals. It has been very do-able. No GRE required. They have CNS and MSEd tracks.

Walden University IS an accredited college.
