Hello everyone!
The college where I am completing my RN to BSN program offers a BSN to DNP option. The college offers two seperate MSN programs, education and administration. The BSN to DNP option combines the 2 MSN programs (minus a few administration courses). I was originally looking into MSN in nursing education programs, but I am thinking that maybe this option might be worthwhile since my primary goal is to teach. I would like to get my education done before I have kids (I'm 22).
My main reason for this post is that I would like to hear some opinions on the DNP. I was reading some of the job descriptions, and they all seem to be related to organizational leadership. I want a doctorate so that my teaching opportunities would not be limited.
Thanks!
Stephanie
