Tracking licenses, etc.

    I'm an SDC in rehab/LTC. Could anyone offer me some advice on how you keep track of license expiration dates and TB tests? I'm a new SDC and would really appreciate any tips you'd like to share. This system was not in place because I"m the first SDC in my building, so I need to develop an efficient system quickly. Thank you!

    there are computer programs for that, mostly available through Human Resources and their vendors. If the population is small I recommend an Excel Spread Sheet. I put reminders under my "tasks" in Outlook and know when to check on certain items. Outlook is an amazing tool when used to its full capability.
