Specializes in critical care.

great resource. you can sign up to receive the nln e-bulletin for free. that's how i heard about the book. do yall (i'm from the south!) think that becoming certified as an educator, along with the degrees at some point will help us to be recognized and affect the nurse educator pay scale eventually?

i personally think that with the certification we can use that as a "tool" for bargaining for higher salaries.

Most definitely. I plan to take the NLN Nursing Educator Certification Exam as soon as it becomes available. The critical shortage in nursing faculty is also forcing salaries up in my area.
