by Mary Ann Jul 5, '99I am a Nurse Clinician in a level 3, suburban NICU. I am trying, again....., to start up a primary nursing program. One of the many obstacles we face is staff working combination shifts of 8 & 12(sometimes even 4) hour shifts. We also have a majority of the nurses working part-time. Any suggestion, references to literature would be helpful.
