    I am the Unit Manager for a 34 bed Med/Surg unit in a rural hospital. Our facility has been through some hurdles with nursing educators and we currently only have one on staff. I need to offer a Med/Surg refresher course to my staff. I need some ideas.... I would like to cover basic Med/Surg topics so that all staff including nursing assistants can attend and then offer some disease/procedure specific topics for the RN's. Has anyone out there developed something like this that they would be willing to share? Or has anyone brought in a speaker to do some staff education that they can recommend?

    Have you considered a med/surg certification review course type of activity?

    ed4nurses stuff is good. I used it to review for the med/surg certification test and it was great. I learned so much from it!

    I have been out of nursing since 2007 and am needing a refresher course to get back into the nursing field. Any free online courses offered with certification.
