Full-time online instructor

  1. 0 Hi all-

I am in my final MSN-Ed program and am receiving the nurse faculty loan. Today I was contacted by a higher up with my current employer and asked to apply for a new educator position. A year ago I would have not thought twice and would have applied before the day was over. But now I am 3 months away from graduation, which means 12 months away from having to be employed full-time as a faculty member according to the terms of my loan repayment. I am curious if anyone taught full-time in an online program, and if so how many courses per semester is considered full-time? I obtained my BSN from U of P, so that is the only online reference point I have. From what I've learned already teaching in an online forum is very time consuming, as much if not more than F2F.

Thanks in advance for any advice or answers!
