myhospital is starting the journey towards magnet status. i am on a committee to help change the overallworking environment in the hospital. the current working environment between doctorand nurses is very poor at best. there tends to be an archaic hierarchy relationship between the two.this is not always the case, but most nurses do not fill his or her opinions orjudgments are not valued by the doctors. the relationship between management and nurses is just as poor if notworse. my question is, "how can a committee change the attitudes of doctors andmanagement to improve, patient care, and employee satisfaction.
