Working overseas with ICU nurses who are not experienced and do not have critical care theory. Teaching the renal system but want to avoid lectures. Wish to hand them the reading as a pre-class requirement, and then spend class time doing activities for active learning. To date we've made posters to learn neuro and TBI, we've played $20,000 pyramid for Ventilation...and now I need a new idea for renal. I work in a Trauma unit so I will be tying in hypovolemic shock and having a close look at pre-renal failure.
Class size will be about 25 students.
Any ideas will be welcome. Thanks
