Hi everyone. I've been posting for a little while now, and to be honest, when I first found this board I was very disillusioned with nursing. I was actually thinking seriously about leaving nursing entirely. Then I began to read some of your great posts and through all of your enthusiasm and honesty, remembered why I wanted to be a nurse in the first place. I have been searching for the last several months for a position that made me want to go back to work, and today I think I found it. I had the greatest interview today in the entire ten years I have been a nurse. I interviewed with a great new orthopedic surgeon who is looking for an office nurse. We hit it off, both of us have the same feelings about patient care and the way we'd like to see an office run. The job has great hours and benefits too! I am so excited! :hatparty: I haven't "officially" got the position yet, but the Doc pretty much told me he planned to hire me, but had to interview one more candidate since the interviews were set up at the Hospital where he has privileges. I just want to say Thank you all for sharing your stories (the good and the bad). You all made me hang in there when I was ready to quit, and I am sooo glad I did.
