Would my experience in plastic surgery be enough to get into grad school?

I have several years of working in the plastic surgery field. I just wonder if I need to have a more traditional nursing experience to be considered for a nurse practitioner/physician assistant program. Should I also get experience working on a med-surg floor before applying? Or do you think that these programs prefer someone who aspires to work or has experience in primary care?

Here is my experience...
5 years working in plastic surgery:
- Assisted in surgery and as an OR circulating nurse
- Took care of post-ops
- Performed a variety of laser treatments
- Consulted prospective laser clients independently
- Botox, fillers etc.
