by seesaw208 Jul 26, '12You are not going to believe what I did. I just started a new job working night shift on medical floor. I have not worked night shift in years, I started to get real sleepy about 2am so I went to make some coffee and one of the other nurse yelled who forgot to put the pot under the coffee maker of course it was me and I was so embarrassed so I went to make another pot and guess what I did again forgot to put the pot under the maker again. Yes, they all think I am crazy but I was just very sleepy. How do I over come this mistake?

- Jul 27, '12 by turnforthenurseRNIt all starts with getting adequate sleep before your shift. If it has been awhile since you've worked nights, it will take a couple of shifts for you to adjust.
