Why are you interested in CM?

CM has became a popular nursing field. I wonder why some of you become a cm. What is so fascinating about cm? Can some of you share with me why you are interested in CM? Thanks a lot.

I am not a case manager but I think it would be fun because you get to know the patients and their families, although I imagine this can also be a double edged sword. You are critically thinking and problem solving all the time. You are kind of like a social worker but you are still a nurse.
