What type of nurse uses a machine that can look at the heart!


I was hearing that a nurse use some type of ultrasound on the heart. I just wanted to know what type of nurse is that. What is there specialty.

At our facility it's a radiology tech who's a specialist in cardiac ultrasound.

Caridac cath lab nurses watch live feed of the heart during procedures. Hope this helps

It's a whole separate thing here.It's called cardiovascular technician.They have to take all the prereqs that nurses have to take.I'm not real sure how much they make.
