Suggestion for enrollment in MEPN

by dia2001

Hey Everybody
I am Dia. I want to join MEPN but I have my 3 years bachelor degree in environmental Sciences. Will University of san francisco allow me to join their MEPN program or is there any other university that can enroll me directly in Masters of Nursing program? I dont mind taking prerequisites if they will enroll me in their masters program directly.

Thank you in advance for your time.

dia

Hi Dia,
Go to the USF website and look up their program. For every MEPN program, you have to take prereqs (including anatomy and physiology within the last 5 years). Then once you are accepted into the program, you need to take the nursing classes that will allow you to sit for the NCLEX boards (nursing boards). A MEPN program is typically 3 years long. The first year is for all the nursing classes to take the NCLEX boards. The rest is toward the master's portion. If you do not pass the NCLEX, you can not attend the masters' classes. BTW, there are many threads on nursing prereqs and MEPN programs on this forum. Good luck.
