Still NOT Working

by KCR411

Thought there was a shortage in Nursing-
Have been looking for a RN job for over a year now and it pretty soon my license will expire-and I haven't gotten a job yet!
Any help or suggestions?

Is relocating an option for you? I realize that many people cannot pick up the pieces of their lives in order to move to an area where nursing jobs are abundant.

I couldn't find a job for a long time either, but found one in a nursing home. Not what I wanted, and not the experience that I need for acute care, but at least my license is active and I'm working. I still am searching for an acute care job though.
