So many choices!

I am about to graduate in December and I have had many interviews, I think 5 now, and all but one offered me a job. I just knew after my ob rotation that I wanted L & D, but I also want NICU. I have an offer from both. How do I chose? I have been told it is really hard to get into L & D after you have already started in med/surg, is this true?

Can't say about your specific question. A lot depends on the institution that you are working for and how they do transfers, etc. But have to say that with 5 job offers already, you are going to be the envy of many who read your post! Congratulations!

Not true. If they take new grads they will take experienced med-surg nurses.

Good luck in deciding.
