shifting from icu to community

by betaq

I have been working in msicu for 1 year now--although its a great learning environment and i enjoy my coworkers i feel that icu nursing is far from what i really want to do-- community nursing. I am dealing with the stress of being in the wrong type of work even when i am off work- i am also finding shift work hard to cope with and am always exausted. I've been nursing for only two years and this is already my second job--will this be a really bad sign on my resume--should i stick it out for another year despite the stress? any advice would be great--i feel i should have just entered community nursing sooner but was looking for hospital experience--am i misleading myself?
