Just seeing if anyone has any insight about how to present a resume for job purposes where there is little to no current job information to present.
I graduate this coming May and will be seeking employment, however this is where I'm at workwise.
I've stayed home with my young children for the past 8 years while attending school.
Prior to that I was in the Army for 7 years. I have all my discharge (Honorable) paperwork to verify employment with the ARMY for that time period, but quite frankly there is no one for a potential employer to contact for references. The Army is a transient entity and no one supervisor stays in one place very long. All the people I've served with are long gone, either gotten out or moved on, and I can't very well tell a potential employer to call the President for a reference

.
I'm very intimidated about my lack of recent work history and how that may reflect on my new career.
Any managers out there have any advice on how to best proceed with this lack work history? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
