to postpone nclex or not?

by bee2160

i need advice whether i should postpone my exam just to be able to enter a nursing job with my interim permit, or should i just go on with my exam? i have tried to apply before, but most of the replies to my applications were i'm not qualified. just recently, a nursing facility seems to be willing to hire me as long as my interim permit's still active. so my problem is: if i will take my nclex exam, my interim permit will become void then before i could get hired.. i don't know if i'm making any sense, but i'm really confused right now. i know i should make the decision on my own, but i would like to see a different perspective or hear an opinion from other nurses about this situation. thanks!
