Possible job!!!

So I had an interview at a very nice dermatoloy office and it went very well. The human resources person and the head nurse both interviewed me and everything was very pleasant and free flowing. The human resources person called me yesterday (from her personal cell phone, on her personal time) to let me know that she will not be in the office and not to worry that I was still being heavily considered for the position.

My question to you all is: Would you take this as a sign that I have the job?
Oh by the way I am a recent grad..
Thanks in advance!!!

Thumbs up Re: Possible job!!!
It sounds very positive that she went out of her way to call you, and to let you know you were strong consideration. Keep your fingers crossed.

If this is the job you really want, tell her that you are still very interesting in the position, I wouldn't say anything else. Also, because there is a "delay," I would still keep looking around, just in case. Who knows what type of constraints they may be under on their end, with the economy and all. Also, sometimes it just takes a really long time for HR to get through the paperwork. In my most recent position, it took almost a month to get the paperwork done, partially b/c I used some academic references. Profs can be really hard to get a hold of. But keep your head up, if they are updating you on the position's progress, they are obviously still interested in you, which is a good sign.
